Not usable, filed a request for return with seller,
I wanted a canvas briefcase for laptop and papers. The bag arrived on time and I was disappointed on receipt for the following reasons:
a) Bag had cotton fibers and a amusing smell – as if stored in damp conditions for long time – moldy.
b) The padding for the laptop was nonexistent on one side. So only a thin canvas layer between the laptop and outside world.
c) The way the bag is made, the it hangs lopsided if carried by the handle. The weight of the papers and laptop in the bag in relation to the handle twists the briefcase to one side.
d) One can’t carry the bag unless the hook is closed and the hook closing required a two handed exercise in frustration .
e) The zips are pretty low quality plastic and I am not sure they will stand the wear and tear of regular use.
f) The inside zippered compartment has extremely this cotton.

|Fantastic bag.,
I was in search of a messenger bag that was not huge to replace my backpack which had become too huge for what I was carrying around. This fit the bill, carries the couple books and folders I carry around without looking like I am going on an expedition and it looks really nice. No longer looks like I’m off to school.

This is a fantastic bag! Excellent size for carrying around books or a laptop computer. It seems well constructed and I imagine it will last a long time. It has a fantastic vintage look.
