Nearly perfect!,
I ordered this in addition to a Speck hard case for my 13-inch Macbook Pro. I wanted something that I could place my laptop into to keep it safe when it is in my backpack. For the money (I bought it for $10), it was certainly worth it. It fits the MBP perfectly, even with the additional bulk with the Speck hard case. My only complaint is that it doesn’t seem like the padding is quite thick enough. It will certainly do the job for now, but I can see myself buying a thicker sleeve in the future.

|Fantastic way to add a small extra padding,
I was looking for a sleeve for my 13.3 inch Macbook Pro that would offer it basic padding/covering while it wasn’t being used, and something to give it a small extra protection while it’s being carried in a bag. The size of the sleeve is perfect for the 13.3 inch Macbook Pro; it’s not too tight, but it doesn’t have a ton of “wiggle room” like some of the other Neoprene sleeves do. The velcro closure is simple open/close, and the lack of a zipper means there isn’t any part of this sleeve that’s going to scratch the aluminum body of your computer. There aren’t any pockets or handles on this, so if you’re looking for something to stash your power cords in, or want something you can carry on its own, this probably isn’t the best choice. As a small bonus, it did come with a small velcro strap to keep your cords tightly wrapped.

|Low density padding seems to provide small impact protection,
I bought this to use with my 13″ Macbook Air, but was disappointed to find that the neoprene feels more like a lightweight foam than a thicker, denser, more rubbery material. In particular, it was simple to feel the hard edges of my laptop through this case, which didn’t give me much confidence in its ability to absorb impacts (mostly dropping my bag on a hard floor).
On the plus side, it’s cheap, light, and would likely protect against scratches.
