Excellent computer, but no HDMI,
This is a nice computer for the price. Worked fantastic right out of the box, no issues with set up, wireless connection, or any of the programs. The show is clear and bright (in spite of some reviews on the internet that describe it as “dim”, I don’t find it dim at all.)
But, the photos of this computer are not accurate. The photo of the left side of the computer clearly shows an HDMI connector. When I received the computer, I realized that this model (43344QU) does NOT have an HDMI connector, although other models of the Lenovo G570 apparently do.
This could be a deal breaker for some people, so please be aware. I wanted an HDMI connecter, but it’s not critical for me, so I elected to keep the computer rather than return it.

|Decent buy for the money.,
I did a ton of reviews for a basic laptop. My use is general and not really any gaming. Mostly remote access to work, word, excel, burning disks and photo work.
This thing is a solid build with decent speed. Super light and sturdy. Parts of it are made of lightweight metal.
I got this because of my Amazon Points which really made a fantastic discount..
Anyway, I’d recommend it over acer, toshiba, etc.
The only pain is there is a bit of extra software probably most will not use. You can simply uninstall it, but its just a slight pain for some.
Also, this does NOT come with any recovery disks. You MUST make your own to restore in the event of a complete hard drive failure. it was the first thing I did and strongly suggest you take the time with this or any laptop as they can be tough.

The Lenovo G570 laptop has several versions ( part numbers ). Earlier part numbers were higher priced and included an HDMI port and maybe an E-Sata port.
The 43344QU version of the Lenova G570 apparently does not include Blue Tooth, an HDMI port nor an E-Sata port.
Disappointing after really reading hands on reviews of a Lenova G570 which did include an HDMI port.
I have a 43344QU coming, and apparently it lacks both Blue Tooth and an HDMI port.
At this point it appears those would have just been nice to have items. I have no known REQUIREMENT for either.
This laptop does have 4GB of memory and a 500 GB Hard Drive and 1033 MHz memory and an Intel 35nm CPU / Graphics integrated chip set. Sturdy plastic case, strong hinges, Touch pad that really works reliably for basic mouse functions, usable keyboard, metal non-sweat grill to rest you hands on when typing, a 15.5 inch show, and it only cost 379 dollars with free shipping and no tax.
Should be able to “make do”.
