I have a 17.3 inch Acer laptop, and it *just* fits into this backpack (with the sleeve on)! Fits my cooling mat, mouse, and power cord as well. Fantastic product, sturdy materials.

Bought this backpack for my daughter whose new laptop would not fit in the ancient case. She likes it–raved about its roominess, “just right” size, and I like the value for the price.

First off I want to say this backpack is very sturdy. It is very light for being kind of huge- I was able to fit my laptop and a PS3 (just to try it out) without it looking or feeling cramped. It was still a small too tall for me.

One of the problems was that the color did not even closely match the one depicted in the photo. I ordered the olive green and it finished up being more of a forest green with black accents. In the photo the green is a lot lighter and there is also like a dark blue/green accent around the top zipper which was not the case with the one I received. Also there is what looks like brown leather on the front and bottom whereas on the actual unit its black and doesn’t look that fantastic. There is a strip on the front and its kind of like Velcro which makes it look extremely cheap.

I could have overlooked all of that had the craftsmanship not been off. The one I received had been stitched incorrectly at the bottom making the front part look lopsided. When I place it on it looked like I had left one shoulder strap longer than the other, that was enough for me to return it. Unfortunate since it’s so hard to find a excellent bag for 17 inch laptops.
