Sent me a Blade,
Amazon sent me the Raidmax Blade by accident, since I ordered and invoiced an Altas. But, they’re the same internal specs with only the location of the audio I/O and USB 2.0 ports differing (Altas on top, Blade in the middle), I figured there wasn’t much point in exchanging. I bought a budget case after all.
Quality is decent for a $40 case, sturdy enough for me. The plastic feet might be a weak point if you accidentally drop it and cable management space is tight. If you plot on using an after market CPU cooler (ie CM Hyper 212) be prepared to ditch any side panel case fan. My 212+ on an ASUS P8Z68 just clears the side panel. The mobo side panel can be manhandled to accommodate for adequate cable routing space, but again it’s a pretty tight fit.
The tool-less bay drives are better suited on more expensive cases. Do yourself a favor and use the proper screws the keep optical drives and HDD secure. The plastic used for this models tool-less mounts won’t hold up for the long haul IMO. Besides, with my Blade I can’t even see the the tool-less mounts with the side panel on, YMMV with the Altas.
At this price point, the Altas (or Blade) scores huge with me, the tool-less mounts notwithstanding.

|Bends simple, nearly paper thin, front panel buttons to remove drive covers don’t work, side panel doesn’t close properly,
Pros:
Inexpensive
Nice Looks
Decent cable routing
Light
Power Supply removable filter from the back of the case doesn’t require the Power Supply to be removed
Cons:
Bends simple
Front panel covers don’t sit straight
There is no side fan as shown in the pictures
Fans are 4 pin with no adapters or way to monitor the speed
Nearly paper thin
Front panel buttons to remove drive covers don’t work, have to force them out from the inside of the case
Rear side panel doesn’t close properly
Power supply holes are off, you can force the screws in place
Zip ties that come with it break super simple
Grommets for water cooling fall out if went even a small
USB Port wires fell out of the port on first use
Power LED is crazy bright

|Fantastic Case with some “Gotchas”,
I bought this case to build a gaming PC and it more than meets my needs. I am running a quad core Intel i5 2400, Nvidia GTX 550ti graphics card, 2 500GB hard drives, and 2 DVD burner drives. I saw in the pictures that a fan could be attached to the side door of the case for more cooling. The huge “gotcha” is, that after doing some research on the Raidmax website, it said that either a 120mm or 180mm fan could be attached to the side door. I bought a 180mm fan, I found that it was too huge. When I took the case to a local computer shop, they said it was sized for a 160mm fan. So if you plot to add another fan to the side panel, a 120mm or 160mm should work, in the end I went with a 120mm. Also the fans that come installed in the case are 4 pin connectors that can only be plugged directly into the power supply.
